Guesthouse Baldursbrá is situated in a lively part of Reykjavik, providing a convenient base for exploring the city. Located near the National Museum of Iceland, it offers easy access to cultural attractions. However, due to its location within a zone restricted to commercial traffic, tour companies cannot pick up guests directly from the guesthouse. Instead, all visitors embarking on tours in Iceland, whether for a day tour or an extended package, must proceed to the designated meeting point set by the city of Reykjavik.
The BSÍ Bus Terminal serves as the main meeting point for tour departures, strategically located near the city center. Positioned next to Hringbraut and close to the domestic airport, the terminal is easily accessible. The meeting point is at the front side of the terminal, facing the city, where taxi stands and luggage lockers are available. This central location ensures that guests can easily find their way to the starting point of their Icelandic adventures.
For guests staying at Guesthouse Baldursbrá, it’s just a 16-minute walk to the meeting point at BSÍ Bus Terminal. Tour pick-ups begin 30 minutes before departure, and it may take up to 30 minutes to gather all guests as we leave the city. We aim to help you find the meeting point easily, so you can relax and look forward to your adventure. Our goal is to make your journey smooth, so you can focus on the experiences that await you in Iceland.
