Reykjavík Hostel Village is a charming and budget-friendly accommodation located in a peaceful area of Reykjavík. This location offers easy access to various shops, cafes, and cultural attractions, making it an ideal spot for travelers looking to explore the city. The hostel is situated within a zone restricted to commercial traffic, meaning tour companies cannot pick up directly from the location. Instead, guests must proceed to a designated meeting point established by the city.
For your convenience, Bus Stop 11 serves as the meeting point, located on the side of the busy Snorrabraut street, right next to the former cinema, a big concrete building now hosting Bulls Eye—a lively spot cherished by locals for darts, beer, and pizza. This location is easily accessible and hard to miss, with a distinctive blue and pink totem standing out from the pavement. It’s just a 4-minute walk from the hostel, providing an effortless route for guests to reach. All visitors taking tours in Iceland, whether a day tour or the longest tour package, are asked to go to the meeting point if staying within the area where pick-up is not possible or banned.
Pick-up begins 30 minutes before departure, and it may take around 30 minutes to gather all guests as we make our way out of the city to start our tours in Iceland. We are dedicated to helping you find your way to the meeting point and ensuring a seamless start to your adventure. Please plan your time accordingly, allowing for a relaxed walk to the meeting point. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Reykjavík as you make your way to begin your unforgettable journey.
