We operate organized tours departing from Reykjavik. Our company is fully licensed and approved by the Icelandic authorities. Nicetravel was founded in 2012 by three Icelandic families with the aim of helping visitors to Iceland to enjoy a nice and enjoyable experience.
Our motto is to be nice. In our tours the maximum size of the group is usually 19 passengers so we are able to give a personal service to all our costumers.
Our office is in Fiskislóð 45M, 101 Reykjavik. We are open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but you can also reach us via phone (+354 419 0100) or e-mail (nicetravel@nicetravel.is) until 7 p.m.

We offer pickup and drop off from all major hotels and guest houses (or dedicated bus stop within city center) in Reykjavik, round trip transportation and professional tour guidance.
All our tours are guided in English but we can also offer tours for groups (12 people or more) in additional languages.

You should be ready in front of your accommodation or at the bus stop 30 minutes before scheduled tour departure. If you are staying within the Reykjavik city center, then you can check the way to the nearest bus stop under this link: SEE MAP Your electronic tickets and e-mail voucher contain detailed information on pick up and drop off. In most cases it is stated whether we will pick you up directly from your accommodation or from the bus stop. If you have any doubts do not hesitate to contact us directly.

We offer pick up and drop of from all hotels and larger guest houses in Reykjavik area. Please note that Reykjavik City has issued a new regulation preventing buses from driving in the City center. This means that all tour companies are allowed to stop at certain designated bus stop locations in the centre of Reykjavík to pick up the guests from hotels or other accommodations in this area. To find the way to the closest bus stop to your accommodation you can use this map: SEE MAP   In most cases it is stated on your voucher whether we will pick you up directly from your accommodation or from the bus stop. If you have any doubts do not hesitate to contact us directly. Returning from tours passengers are dropped off at the hotels or guest houses they were collected from, or at the nearest possible location.
Weather in Iceland is changing all the time. For tours in Iceland during summer, bringing a light rain jacket is in most cases enough protection. For winter season, warm jacket, good walking shoes, cap or a hat and gloves are essential accessories to combat cold weather.
Meals are not included in tours unless specifically stated in tour description, but stops are frequent where passengers can buy light meals and refreshments.
After finishing the booking process there will be an electronic ticket on your screen that you can print out. You will also receive an e-mail with a voucher that you can print out.
We accept all major credit cards and payments by electronic bank transfer.
We charge the full amount of your tour(s) at the same time as the booking and you will be informed by email when your credit card has been charged.

Please contact us  as soon as possible if you must change or cancel your tour(s). You can cancel your day tours and multi-day tours up to 24 hours and receive a full refund. 

If a scheduled day tour is cancelled by the tour operator due to poor weather conditions, we can arrange for you to go on the tour on a different day. If that does not work with your schedule, we can also offer an alternative activity at no additional cost or give you a full refund.
In most cases there is a discount for children, although the exact amount depends on the age of the child and the specific tour. You can find the children’s rates under the tour description
