Visit the two major attractions of Iceland in one fun filled day! The Golden Circle with Thingvellir, Geysir & Gullfoss and the Blue Lagoon with Comfort admission tickets included plus a visit to the Kerid volcanic crater combined in a great experience.
There is a very good reason why these tour attractions are at the top of list of must see places for most visitors to Iceland! Here you combine these two magic places in one day tour with comfort admission tickets into the Blue lagoon and admission to the Kerid Volcanic Crater included in the package.
Your day starts by driving from Reykjavik to the historic site of Thingvellir National Park. This was the venue for the Icelandic parliament from 930 till 1798 and is listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site, both for it´s rich history and amazing nature. This is also where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet which creates an amazing feeling having one foot in each world.
After enjoying the experience of Thingvellir, you will travel onwards to the world famous site of the hot spring Geysir. Known throughout the world for it´s power and beauty, Geysir has become a synonym for this amazing show of nature. Strokkur, another hot spring, sits nearby and is very active, erupting to heights up to 30 meters every few minutes. In the Geysir area you will also have time to buy lunch or some snacks.
Next on the agenda is the waterfall Gullfoss – the golden waterfall. One of the most popular tourist attractions is Iceland, Gullfoss will amaze you with it´s raw power and beauty, plummeting down 32 meters into a rugged canyon.
These three attractions complete the classic Golden Circle – but to add even more to your experience – we also stop at the spectacular Kerid Volcanic Crater. This 3000 year old crater is 55 meters deep and offers a unique view of the beauty of the Icelandic nature. Admission to the Kerid is included in the tour price.
After this visual feast, it is time for you to head onward to the Blue Lagoon to spend the rest of your day relaxing in the natural hot water and enjoying the fantastic facilities there. Tickets are sold out on most dates but as this tour includes the admission tickets, you can start looking forward to enjoying this unique place as soon as you have completed your booking of the tour.
After spending 2 hours at the Blue Lagoon, it is time to head back to the bright lights of Reykjavik where you can reflect on an amazing day and enjoy the rest of your night.

What a fantastic day. Thor was knowledgable, funny and played amazing music that fitted the mood and added to the enjoyment of some of the greatest natural wonders it’s ever been our pleasure to see. A day that will live long in the memory
I never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so after the most incredible day. Me and my boyfriend booked this tour as we were only in Iceland for 2 nights. It is perfect if you want to see lots of sights in a short space of time. The whole day went smoothly from start to end and the sights were absolutely stunning! You are picked up in darkness but on your journey to the first stop the light slowly creeps in and you start making out the landscape, wow! From watching the sun rise at the national park to the waterfalls, geysers, horses and Kerid Krater, I honestly fell in love with Iceland and its beauty and sense of calm, pictures do not do it justice. The Blue Lagoon was the perfect ending although my only criticism is that it is dark at this point so you cant actually see it. But cant be helped and still a super magical experience!
Lastly thanks so much to Arnar (Addi)! He was super funny, friendly and knowledgable and really added to our experience - a credit to nice travel. the perfect trip, highly recommend!
We had Eidar as our tour guide/driver and he was very good at informing us with everything we needed to know, he gave us a great history of Iceland and the sights we got to see were everything and more than we expected , he went out of his way to give us 5/10 minutes to stop and see some Icelandic horses which was a nice added treat for everyone on the bus.
Michael our tour guide was fantastic plus knowledgeable also funny and friendly. While guiding us around the stunning locations of the golden circle. It seemed he went that extra effort to get us to place and views.Thank you Micheal and nice travel
Our tour was everything we could hope for. Starting with our driver- guide to the incredible scenery. We would highly recommend Nice Travel.
Our driver, Marek, was an exceptional tour guide. He drove very safely and had interesting facts and information to tell us throughout the long rides between sites. Everything went smoothly, and he was very clear with the times to get back on the bus. We had plenty of time to see each site, and there were many bathroom breaks. The sites themselves were worth seeing, and the Blue Lagoon was the perfect ending to the tour.
Absolutely enjoy this trip, out driver Roman was brilliant guide us trough the whole time told us historical facts about it. Highly recommend
Tour guide was funny and informative, we stopped in many places and really enjoyed the tour, would recommend!
Everything in that 11 hours tour was perfect
We really enjoyed this tour, especially the visit to Thingvellir National Park, which was simply gorgeous blanketed in a thin coat of ice and snow. Our tour guide, Robert, was amazing and so informative. The Blue Lagoon was a beautiful and relaxing way to end our day trip. Thanks, NICE Travel.
This tour was full of amazing sites and made more enjoyable by our excellent tour guide David. He was knowledgeable, entertaining and nothing was too much trouble. It was a super cold day but thankfully not too windy. All the sites were memorable and the timing (particularly as it was so cold) was just right. There are plenty of stops along the way for restroom and snack breaks and a longer stop around midday allowing tome for lunch. Ending the day at the Blue Lagoon was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend NICE travel and this tour. 🙂
The guide/‘driverman’ as he called himself was fantastic! His English was great, his knowledge of Icelandic history was super and he was funny and friendly. Each of the stops was good in its own way. Timing was fine, you didn’t have time to muck about it was a get a good look then move on kind of tour but it is so cold I’ll be honest the bus is quite welcome after 30mins or so out in the elements. The lunch stop was lovely - food choice and quality superb and reasonably priced.Due to the time of year we came (December) there are very few hours of daylight - nothing to do with the tour operator obviously but it was a little disappointing that some of the stops were so dark when we got there.
The bus collected us on a cold morning and started off to our 1st destination. It was dark but by the time ww got there is was light and the views amazing. This trip is well planed and the tour guides are informative with a wealth of knowledge about where we are going as well as Iceland. A wonderful day, a well thought out tour and finished at the lagoon. Amazing.
I booked this tour for me and my partner a few months ago. I dealt with Elisa in the office who could not have been more helpful. She was informative throughout the process and even helpfully advised me that I could just walk a few mins to the office on the morning of the tour as we coincidentally stayed close to their head office! It saves us having to be picked up centrally and allowed us to be dropped almost to our door in the evening!
Our tour guide was Skúli. He was pretty much the best tour guide that I have ever seen. An Icelander who has experience and knowledge of all of the sights, and was able to accommodate the group’s needs and some random stops to see some nature!
The tour is a good 11-12 hours long which means you start and finish in darkness. But you don’t spend much on the bus in long stretches. The longest we spent on the coach in one drive was an hour. There is always something to stop off and see.
The bus itself was a immaculate - a new Mercedes bus with plenty of comfy seats and space for coats etc. The heating and audio was perfect. The total group size for us was 14 I think and so not a big coach tour that seems a bit more touristy.
Top tips: you will se a lot and I won’t spoil the surprises for you, but by the end of this tour, you’ll have seen a waterfall or two, volcano, geyser, glacier, lakes, mountains, horses, and even the Blue Lagoon. Tips for the day would be:
Dress for the warmth. It didn’t rain but was cold. So please ensure to pack warm clothes and layers! The walk in the National Park to see the sunrise was around 40mins and was first thing in the morning. Random stops can be windy and cold too. With rain, it could be worse if you don’t have the right clothes.
Remember to pack your Blue Lagoon stuff. Swimming trunks, contact lens, waterproof protection if you want to take your phone in (why!?), flip flops. You get given a fresh towel, a locker, and have a free drink and mud mask included. Leave the phone behind and just enjoy the awesome geothermal water. It’s breathtaking at night and the perfect end to the day. Don’t forget a hairbrush as all men and women need to wash their hair. Hairdryers and condition are/gel are available for use.
Charging points are in the bus and easily accessible. No toilet on the bus but plenty of stop off points.
Take snacks if you get peckish.
Camera and phone is a must for pics!
Thanks for the amazing experience - I will definitely use this company again. Their organisation and professionalism was perfect.
Brilliant tour fantastic scenery . Tour guide skula was fantastic . Would definitely recommend.
Perfect mix of destinations. Able to get as close as you want to each attraction. Timely, comfortable and friendly jouruand tour guide. Robert listened to all the people on the tour to make the day suit all our wishes. Great fun.
Fantastic tour - would highly recommend. Thor was an awesome tour guide - a good DJ too.
This tour was one of our best tours in Iceland! We loved that it was a smaller group so it felt like it was more personalized compared to the others. Our guide, Anar, was professional, knowledgeable and friendly! Will definitely use Nice Travel again!
Good guide Roman very informativeGood itinersry
The tour was spectacular. Our guide Michael was fantastic, knowledgeable and funny!
Roman was an amazing and knowledgeable tour guide. Highly recommended. We loved it!!!!!Merci beaucoupAnne, Paul,Olivier and KalebCanada
Super windy and rainy day, but didn’t matter. Excellent tour, beautiful sites. Our tour guide, Roman, was incredibly knowledgeable. Well worth it!
The weather was cold, windy and the rain poured down, but the Tour was amazing and completely worth it! Our guide, Valdi, was such a great guide, fun, energetic and full of facts, answering all questions with a smile, that the bad weather almost didnt matter. Thr places we visited are beautiful and the blue lagoon is truly an experience. Would go again!
It was a day packed full of spectacular sights. The tour guide was great and kept the day moving at a good pace, not to fast not to slow.
My sister & I took this guided tour on reviews left by previous tourists. What can I say but totally amazing day. Our tour guide, Andres? Sorry I can’t quite remember was awesome. Very knowledgeable, fun & a credit to Nice Travel. Our day started at 0830, watched the sun rise over the biggest natural lake in Iceland, stunning! then onto the national park, for a stroll around which again was stunning, then onto feed the Icelandic horses, very cute! lunch stop at the geysir which was awesome to watch. We had soup which was delicious & enough to keep us going the rest of the day. Next stop Kerid crator, then onto golden circle where the waterfall will take your breath away. Finally ended with 2 hours in the Blue Lagoon. I cannot express how much I fell in love with Iceland. I would 100% recommend this trip as we got to see so much of Iceland in one day. well done Nice travel, a truly wonderful experience. We will be back!,
Nothing short of perfect. We were late to our pick up time and they were understanding and accomidating. They even came back to pick us up (as we weren’t too late). The tour guide was extremely friendly, funny and taught us a lot about Iceland throughout the day. We went with another tour provider for the northern lights the day before. We often felt like a number or transaction to them but Nicetravel seemed to really care about us all having the best experience. Can’t recommend them enough!
I was wondering if this 11 hour tour would be too long. We only had one full day in Iceland. This tour was magical. I still can not believe all the incredible sites we saw. Our guide whose name was something like "Thor" was a native to Iceland and was simply fabulous!! Can't recommend this enough
The tour guide was wonderful, articulate and knowledgeable. He led us through all of the great sites along the Golden Circle, added a stop for the "best ice cream in Iceland" and provided engaging stories about the island and its history. Plus, the tour included tickets to the Blue Lagoon, which made it easy! Everything you could want in a tour. Highly recommended!!
This is a great tour, you see so many amazing spectacles. My only critique is that it is a long day, I would recommend doing the blue lagoon separately to break the day up a bit more. But, the tour itself, the locations and the guide were all fantastic.
The views were absolutely unbelievable, I highly recommend every one to join this tour.
This was booked by our daughter as a gift, we had a truly memorable day. Breathtaking scenery, great information about Iceland from Skula, and finishing at the blue lagoon was perfect. And when we were being driven back to Reykjavik, we saw the Northern lights. A perfect day, thank you Nice!
Absolutely brilliant tour guide, she was so lovely and knowledgeable about Iceland and the places we visited, she even made a couple of extra stops to get an ice cream, and another one to feed some horses, not pony’s. We had a lovely couple from Brazil and he proposed to her with the tour guides help. A long day but well worth it. We even had an extra half hour at the blue lagoon as it was her day off the next day. 5* all round
Great tour! Experienced driver with tons of knowledge about Iceland's history and culture. Everything we hoped it would be and more. Would highly recommend to anyone!
I really had amazing time with NICE Tour. The Guide and bus driver (ATE-hope i pronounce it right) was a really helpful and informative guy. We visited all the highlight places with stunning views and end up with a very relax time in Blue Lagoon before heading back to hostel. I really recommended this tour.
Everything was fantastic. Communication before pick up was easy. Our tour guide Roman was lovely and made the tour enjoyable and funny. 100% recommend.
Fantastic tour from pick up to drop off. Our Driver, Robert, was very friendly and helpful, with lots of tips to make the best of each stop. The scenery we saw was stunning. Having our Blue Lagoon tickets included was a great idea as it saved us having to trawl the internet to buy our own. We eould throughly recommend Nice Travel when booking any tours.Ps - my wife lost her gloves. A quick email soon revealed that she had left them on the bus. They were kept safe until we could collect them. Super service !
we were collected bang on time outside our hotel (I had the family with me). The driver/guide was great, obviously local and very passionate about Iceland. Not only did he take us to the expected places, all beautiful btw, he also did a few impromptu stops at places that he personally loved. Although this was our first Golden Circle tour I really don't think we could have done better.Recommended.
This tour met all our expectations; the tour guide was excellent, knowledgeable and helpful, the sights were amazing and the bus very comfortable. I would recommend Nice Travel highly, thank you!
Excellent all round service. Hotel pickup for six arrived when stated. Went out of their way to get booster seats for the children. Driver friendly, extremely knowledgeable of Iceland's history and points of interest. Long day but really worth it, thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Booked the tour on the 18th Oct as it was my wife's birthday.Elisa from Nice Travel went out of the way to make my wife's birthday special. On the day Skuli was our driver/ guide... Very friendly and accommodating. Although the weather was not in our favour, he ensured he bought his humour in to the tour and kept the spirits of the group in a high note.In the afternoon, Skuli lit a candle in a cupcake and sang happy birthday to my wife in Icelandic... It was a special moment and everyone in the group joined in.Thank you Nice Travel for a magical experience. Would certainly recommend without hesitation
The tour was wonderful, the tour guide Stainor was brilliant
Enjoyed this beautiful tour around Iceland’s golden circle with driver, Martin! Last stop was Blue Lsgoon which was relaxing & beautiful way to end the day! Must see this!
