After being picked up in Reykjavik in the morning, you will enjoy an unforgettable adventure exploring the many amazing natural wonders of the South Coast of Iceland, including Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss and the Black Beach of Reynisfjara.
Your tour starts by driving along route 1 passing through small towns and enjoying the beauty of the Icelandic countryside. The first stop will be at the famous Seljalandsfoss waterfall, which is located beneath the Eyjafjallajokull volcano. Remember to ask your tour guide all about the colossal eruption back in 2010. Close by is the beautiful but less known waterfall Gljufrabui.
Next up is the stunning Skogafoss, a drop of 60 m (200ft) of natural raw power that must be seen to be believed. You will then have the additional pleasure of visiting the secret waterfalls of Gljufrabui and Írafoss with Solheimajokull glacier towering above on your route.
Then it is on to Reynisfjara, a black sand beach nestling under Mt. Reynisfjall – seasonal home to numerous puffins that dive from its cliffs out to sea. Black basalt has been shaped into amazing different formations, most notably the famous Reynisdrangar. Beware the might of the Atlantic Ocean which looms with its powerful waves.
After an amazing day exploring and enjoying the wonderful sights, you can enjoy the free WiFi on your way back to Reykjavik to share instantly your adventure, photos and memories with your friends back home.

We had a great experience. Our tour guide was friendly and helpful.it was nice to have a small group. We made extra stops that were interesting,we stopped was a great lunch. I would use this company again
We joined for one day a group on a 3 day tour of the southern part of Iceland. We were picked up on time and drove for an hour to pick up the other group members before the tour started. Nichola our driver was very professional and knowledgeable and, she took the time to show us extra sights. The drivers emphasise punctuality and time management. A modern Mercedes sprinter speeds you along the tarmac roads. WiFi and USB chargers are free. I’m a larger than average man and found the seats and legroom small for an eleven hour day. There are many toilet and snack breaks along the way. All in all a great day out seeing the sights. I would recommend Nice Travel.
Our tour driver/guide spoke very little the whole trip. He gave very little information about the places we went. And he spoke, he had no excitement at all. We saw many water falls and a black sand beach and that's about it. We went with people who took the two days tour. And at around 4 pm the driver started dropping off people to their hotels on the way. Finally he dropped off the last group to their hotel around 5:15 pm and my family had to wait for another 45 minutes (until 6 pm) for bus transfer back to Reykjavik. We wasted about two hours there. We could have done more sightseeing or going back to Reykjavik earlier to get some rest before our northern light tour. I felt our time had been stolen some because of all the dropping off other people and waiting for the bus transfer. When they said the tour is about 11 hours long, that was not the case for us.
I researched a number of operators and finally booked this trip with Nice travel for myself, my husband and sons as we wanted a small group experience. We were not disappointed. The Mercedes minibus was very comfortable and our guide, Andrea, was very knowledgeable. We headed out of Reykjavik, stopping at Urridafoss Falls to see the sunrise before heading on to Seljalandsfoss, Eyjafjallajokull and Skogafoss. Our final stop was at Reynisfjara where we walked on the black sand beach and admired the stunning basalt columns. We got the opportunity to get a really good feel of the Icelandic landscape plus there was adequate time at each stop so that we did not feel rushed. I would highly recommend Nice travel.
Great tour of the South Coast with NiceTravel. The tour included many beautiful locations and the guide was knowledgeable. The group size was less than 15 clients and the van was clean and modern with Wi-fi. We had plenty of time to explore at each site. Nice Travel is very professional and I highly recommended them.
We had a FANTASTIC time touring the South Coast. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting tidbits about nature and history. The mellow pace left us plenty of time to explore each sight on our own. We highly recommend this tour!
What a perfect day's tour! Only 4 people had booked on the day we went, so Mikael (hope I've spelt it right!) used a minibus rather than the small buses generally used. And with only 4 people, it felt like a personal tour. Mikael was informative and you could sense his pride and interest in the country and landscapes he showed us. As there were so few of us, he was able to take us to many more places than the tour advertised - we saw a huge range of places. And, amazingly, after all that, he dropped us back at the hotel at the exact time he promised! This is a brilliant company, with talented and interesting tour hosts. I wouldn't use anyone else in future.
Another excellent tour with NICE travel. Once again our tour guide Valti was personable, entertaining and knowledgeable. The waterfalls were stunning and it was great to see them close up. Valti carefully drove the bus to the most southern point of Iceland to let us see the view across the ocean. Due to the dangerous wind conditions some of the people on the bus were not able to complete their 2 day tour. Valti made sure that everyone was taken care of and had accommodations arranged. Highly recommend this company and tour.
A great tour despite the awful weather, gale force winds and rain. Fantastic sights and a knowledgable guide. Picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Everything went smoothly although we did have an extended stay in the village near the Black Beach due to the Road being shut due to the strength of the wind. Highly recommended!
Fantastic guide who knowledgeably led us to the beautiful sites along the south and took us into the waterfall inside the cave! Everything you could want and expect from such a tour.
